FCS is working with the British Standards Institution (BSI) to bring CISPR to the U.K. for the first time since 2001 when it was sponsored by the U.K. regulator, the Radiocommunications Agency (now Ofcom). FCS is now working to raise all the sponsorship from industry sources.
CISPR’s work in RF engineering covers spurious emissions in most areas of society, including interference measurements and statistical methods, EM disturbances related to electric and electronic equipment on vehicles, along with EMC of information technology equipment (ITE), multimedia equipment and receivers. The group also sets limits for the protection of radio services.
The event will be held in Birmingham 24 September to 4 October 4, 2018. More information is here.
